Broglio’s Goonhilly Greenpower Project shortlisted in Green Energy Awards
Broglio’s Goonhilly Greenpower Project for Cornwall Light & Power is on the shortlist for Best Renewable Scheme in the prestigious South West Green Energy Awards.

Welcoming their nomination for Best Renewable Scheme, Neil Harris of Cornwall Light & Power, said: “Goonhilly Greenpower is a pioneering project both as the first major repower of an existing wind farm and in the high level of community support and involvement we have and continue to enjoy." Now in their seventh year, the South West Green Energy Awards recognise the increasing importance that renewable energy plays in the West Country in providing solutions to the threat of climate change. Following final judging, accolades will be presented, by leading environmentalist Jonathan Porritt, at a glittering ceremony at the Bath Assembly Rooms on 24 November.
